Double-pendulum clocks are rare, largely because of their mechanical complexity.

When two pendulums are arranged in anti-phase, however, they can achieve remarkable stability by exchanging energy between them. In effect, the pendulums communicate with one another, helping to cancel errors and regulate their shared motion.

Only a small number of double-pendulum clocks have been made throughout the history of horology. My interpretation would use a modified gravity escapement acting on both pendulums, with the interaction between them taking place through a flexible coupling.

The movement would be illuminated from above, set within a black lacquered case.
